Days for Pipers

Oxford Pipeworks XI

Saturday 28th April 2012. 9.30am – late evening, at Dr Radcliffe's School, Fir Lane, Steeple Aston, OX25 4SF Course. Tutors are Pauline Cato, Anthony Robb and Mike Nelson.

There will be an informal session on the Friday in the Steeple Aston Sports and Social Club from 7.30pm. This will be a play around where tunes are called, then played. Saturday will be as per the provisional programme. On Sunday morning there will be another informal session at The Rock of Gibraltar, OX5 3AY from 11 o’clock. This will be more of a ‘session’ where tunes are not named before playing.

East of England Pipeworks VI

17 November 2012 - 11am – 5pm at Bar Hill Church Centre, Nr Cambridge. This event involves a social gathering with lots of group playing. However, there
is some scope for individual tuition for beginners, as well as some pipe fettling.

Cost for the day will be £20 (£18 if received before 31st August). Coffee and tea will be provided but bring your own packed lunch, alternatively there is a large supermarket or a fish and chip shop nearby.
